Sandip University commenced its academia from June, 2016 and shortly, blazed a unique trail from its counterpart Indian universities by following the requirements of Washington Accord in the form of Outcome Based Education (OBE).
Since then, Sandip University has been deeply committed to developing rational and divergent thinkers, who are confident, communicate with modern minds, responsible for global citizens’ growth and trend-setters in Engineering and Technologies, Life-sciences, Law, Management, Sciences, and Pharmacy. Our collaboration with national and international universities, industry knowledge partners, and research organisations delivers a myriad of opportunities for our students, faculty members and our esteemed stakeholders.
In my journey as Vice-Chancellor of this prestigious University, I find myself well-equipped to take up all these challenges towards streamlining all aspects and aspirations in a desirably better direction. So, I take this opportunity to mobilise all our stakeholders towards our endeavour to move ahead with great synergy, hope, and positivity towards achieving our goals as per our ‘2022 Roadmap’.
The “Vision 2022” would be our target for sustainable growth of the University, towards setting up various interdisciplinary, state-of-art labs, systems for faculty development, futuristic environment for effective teaching-learning, research, and implementing all kinds of educational quality standards.
At Sandip University, we take a holistic approach towards initiating growth in agro-development, focusing in areas like mechanised farming, health care, transportation, communication, waste management, energy, water resource, environment, disaster mitigation, computing, and allied technologies.
We ensure that our student community will be counselled to keep abreast with a sense of creativity, innovative research, design, development, and technology management in shaping the future of our country with special emphasis on national level initiatives like Skill India, Digital India, Clean India, Make-in-India, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Rurban Mission, and Smart Cities and Villages.
